TRADE PARTNER
INFORMATION PACK

This document outlines everything you need to know to prepare for the Trade Partner Expo including bump-in and out information, freight and deadlines.


GCCEC REQUIREMENTS

GCCEC Induction: this induction is required for all members of your team, for any bump in/out activity and movements at GCCEC. Please click the following induction link and select Event Contractor or Exhibitor to complete.

GCCEC Event Planning and Safety Guidelines: please ensure you review this document and refer to Section 3 - Safety in particular.


EXPO FORMS

FREIGHT & DELIVERY LABELS

Please download, complete and submit the relevant forms via the Trade Partner Expo Portal by Monday, x August.

1. Risk Assessment (Mandatory): a comprehensive document to be completed by all Trade Partners, ensuring all hazards are identified, and risks are assessed and controlled to minimise the potential for injury or harm; including for the bump in/out and activity during the expo.

Please Note: The template provided is intended to be a reference resource only, and does not represent a one-size-fits-all approach. Trade Partners should still seek their own Health & Safety advice to consider their own intended exhibiting approach/activations when completing. 

2. Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS): to be completed for any activity outside of speaking e.g. cooking, demonstrating machinery, spraying product etc.

3. Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT): to be completed only if you are providing merchandise or prizes and giveaways at your expo space.

Please Note:

  • Any ‘end-of-expo’ prizes or competitions being run on the booths need to be shared with sca26@kodegroup.com.au by Monday x x. Any prizes for distribution at the Thursday night Team Dinner must be provided at GCCEC side of stage by 5:30pm, clearly labelled with Trade Partner name and prize/competition construct.

  • Our intent is to minimise single-use or unsustainable items at this event. If you would like a sustainable giveaway item considered for inclusion in the Conference Showbags, please contact sca26@kodegroup.com.au for your request to be considered by Supercheap Auto.


4. Vehicle Approval Form: to be completed only if you have been approved by Supercheap Auto to display a vehicle as part of your allocated expo space.


If you are sending freight to Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) please download, print and affix the Delivery Label to your freight. Deliveries to GCCEC will be accepted from Friday, x x.

For any items being collected from the GCCEC, please ensure you download, print and affix the Dispatch Label to your freight, along with your relevant consignment notes. Collections from GCCEC will be need to be made by Friday, x x.

Please ensure you have your own pallet wrap, tape and other packaging materials to ensure safe dispatch of goods.
